(Reuters) - A correction officer was suspended on Friday in connection with the escape of two inmates who were still at large after breaking out of a New York state prison, officials said in a statement.
"A correction officer was placed on administrative leave this evening as part of the ongoing investigation into the escape at Clinton Correctional Facility," the New York state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision said in a statement.
The department said it could not immediately release any further details.
