New York City. Home of bagels, pigeons, and infamously expensive apartments.

But if you think paying $2,500 for a one-bedroom apartment up five flights of stairs is a lot, wait until you see the latest penthouse to hit New York City's estate market.

Let's take a look inside the newly listed $169 million 432 Park Avenue penthouse apartment, right on "Billionaires Row."

The 8,255 square-foot apartment sits on the 96th floor — the top floor — of the controversial 432 Park Avenue skyscraper.

This price rings in at $20,472 per square foot, according to the Streeteasy listing.

The 1,396-foot tall 432 Park Avenue is one of the tallest residential buildings in the world, according to a press release.

It's just a short stroll away from Central Park …

… and has 30,000 square feet worth of amenities like a private restaurant and lounge, indoor pool, gym, sauna, terrace, and a children’s play area, to name a few amenities.

Now let's take a closer look at the penthouse itself.

The apartment was previously owned by Fawaz Al Hokair, a Saudi real estate and retail powerhouse who purchased the apartment in 2016, Katherine Clarke reported for Wall Street Journal.

If the apartment is sold at the listed $169 million, the price of the penthouse will be almost double what Al Hokair spent …

… and will be one of the most expensive properties to have ever been sold in the US, according to the Wall Street Journal.

It's now being listed with Ryan Serhant, CEO of his own brokerage firm Serhant and star of Bravo's "Million Dollar Listing New York."

The home has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms …

… a library, and two powder rooms.

Let's start with the primary bedroom, which has corner windows with views of the city and Central Park.

The space also includes a seating area, walk-through closet …

… and an en-suite bathroom with marble walls, heated floors, and a floating tub.

The five other bedrooms also have large closets and en-suite bathrooms, of course.

And what would be a luxury apartment without a private elevator? This one opens right into the great room.

Speaking of which, let's head to the 93-foot long room, which includes a living and formal dining space.

The great room also has a wood-burning fireplace.

In true luxury apartment fashion, this expansive communal space will have 360-degree views of Manhattan, New York through the 24 10-foot by 10-foot windows.

These windows occupy most of the 12.5-foot tall walls, providing sky-high views of the city.

Now, let's explore the kitchen space, which has full views of Central Park.

The eat-in kitchen has high-end finishes like an island, marble floors, counters, and backsplashes …

… dining spaces like a breakfast bar ...

… a pantry with an additional sink, and Miele appliances.

All of the furniture and art you've seen on this tour is included in the $169 million price tag.

This includes all of the Fendi, Bentley, and Hermes branded furniture pieces, as well as the custom piano.

There's also a washer and dryer in-unit, a luxury and rarity for New York City apartments (but not in this price range).

If all of this sounds enticing to you, just be ready to shell out the $169 million, plus an additional $24,012 for common charges and $14,811 in monthly taxes.
